SSAFA named one of Rygor Group’s charities of 2025
05 February 2025
Rygor Group Ltd – an award-winning automotive company – has named SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity as one of its beneficiaries for 2025.
The multi-franchise vehicle group first launched its Charities of the Year initiative in 2015, and since then, Team Rygor has donated more than £55,000 to good causes across the UK.
Welcoming the announcement, Jenny King, Head of Corporate Engagement for SSAFA, said: “Corporate partnerships are extremely valuable to SSAFA as they provide life changing support to the entire Armed Forces community.
“None of the work we deliver would be possible without the support and commitment from companies such as Rygor, and we are very excited to work with them in 2025.”
The other charities to be supported by Rygor in 2025 are FareShare, Smart Works, and Hope for Tomorrow.
Rygor Group’s Managing Director, John Keogh, commented: “Rygor’s Charities of the Year initiative is an important part of our team culture, giving back to the local community and our Rygor Belonging programme.
“Our incredible team members are key to our fundraising, and from sponsored chilli-eating challenges to cake sales, their dedication and support makes all the difference.
“The four remarkable causes our team will fundraise for in 2025 all link closely with what we value at Rygor and align especially with our value of being respectful. We look forward to working with all the charities this year.”
Now in its 140th year, SSAFA has supported the entire Armed Forces family since 1885 with one aim: to support veterans and serving personnel, as well as their families, to make sure no-one ever battles alone.
